Great post dude. I am an avid player myself. I normally use side arm to drive my discs but your absolutely right. If you can putt, it wont matter how far your drive is but I will say most people are not good at both. I am not the best putter in the world so my distance does help quite a bit. Especially if it is close enough for me to putt. Not very good with all the fancy putting such as doing heisers and those other cool tricks. The worst of it is finding a style that fits you but for some reason everytime I play disc golf you forget your style from the last game you played so I am always trying and fighting to find my perfect style when playing.
